Feeder Finance Daily Update May 26, 2021

  • Working through the suggested and internally requested edits to the homepage
  • DApp programming for redesign in progress; slightly slowed by the fixes on the homepage

  • DJ and Patrick had a call to discuss influencer target list development, approach strategies, and materials; we’ll go out end of this week to early next

Development Timelines

Current Timeline Expectations:

No update.  Everything on schedule.

End of May – Complete smart contract and complete unit testing (scenario tests)

Starting First Week of June – Launch on test net to study the smart contract execution, look for bugs, observe performance, and tweak if necessary.

Third Week of June

  • Look for community members with dev skills to join Jimmy in going over the smart contracts and testing to get a second opinion; ensuring safety, vulnerability, and execution.
  • CertiK starts auditing our contracts.  We’ll iterate with them if they have comments to make requested adjustments.

June 31/July 1 – Product Launch

Current Timeline Expectations:

May 24th 25thFrontpage makeover completed.  We were working through all the fixes from the suggestions and internally.  Once that’s done, all the infographics will be 3D animated.  So they’ll be moving in a way that makes things clearer, i.e.: bullets and coins flowing.  The animator is working on that.

Week of May 24thDApp makeover in progress.  Spent most of the day on minor fixes for the homepage, so we didn’t make progress on the DApp front.  It’s likely that we implement the major structural changes first.  The remaining community suggested items will come in a series of minor updates.  We have a long list on #team-progress of the Discord and intend to implement as many as possible.

No update.  Designers working on this.

Week of May 24 – Aiming completion

Other Non-Core Updates

  • Re-engage CMC – With the new website and the teaser coming this week.  We’ll be going back to CMC and resubmit.  Hopefully, with these developments, we’ll make the cut.
    • As a reminder of what we didn’t have when we went to them the first time:
      • CertiK On-Boarding
      • Complete website
      • Product Teaser
      • An incredible community
      • Time.  We’re less than a week old then.  We’re over a month old now.

FFP-3: Shifting Marketing Focus

The vote of FFP-3 has complete.  We’ll make an official announcement tomorrow. The vote is unanimous, with 100% of the 4.49m votes supporting the team using funds for marketing purposes.

Thank you for your support!

Pre-Launch Marketing Initiatives

DJ and Patrick had a brief call to strategize on the outreach to influencers today.  We’ve discussed the target influencers, approach strategies, marketing materials.  We’ll keep working on expanding the list.  We aim to approach our targets end of this week to early next.

We’ll leave the below here as I think it is relevant:

Using available funds, we’ll soon start our pre-launch marketing initiatives.  This will involve:

1. KOL Strategy:  Using our new website and first teaser to approach influencers

  • We’ll likely attract existing DeFi investors first as new holders of the FEED token but ultimately also as vault users
  • We’ll start with less influential (lower economics required) and move on to the top tier after launch

For this effort, we’ve asked the community for influencer/KOLs ideas that we could approach.  We’ve already got some great suggestions so far, but we welcome more.  Please do share when you can at the Feeder Finance Suggestions Group.

2. Media:  We are in contact with CoinTelegraph and will try to proceed with a Sponsored Article to be published on the day of the product launch to maximize exposure

3. More: Teaser Video ideas we’re working on

  • [For DeFi Audience ] Product detailed walkthrough
  • [For Non-DeFi Audience] Platform teaser with real-world connect

Nothing written here is financial advice.  Please DYOR.
